FB SERIES LASER CUTTING MACHINES

Viable's FB laser cutting machines are the most productive and precise laser cutting machines available to the woven label industry. Their unique design includes a 70 x 100 cm flat cutting bed, a micro video camera, and sophisticated laser control software.

MACHINE CONFIGURATION

FB machines use a 70 x 100 cm cutting bed and a 70 cm width fabric roll feed system. 150 cm width machines are also available. The wide cutting bed allows large designs to be cut, and allows small designs to be cut with unprecedented efficiency. The machine can handle fabric rolls of any width from 1 cm up to 70 cm. Large rolls with multiple repeats can be cut, reducing machine stoppage for roll changes. Labels and badges can be located very close together, maximizing fabric usage. Samples can be produced efficiently from fabric sheets cut upon the machine's flat bed.

MICRO VIDEO CAMERA

Our micro video camera and electronic optical software (EOS) locates labels and aligns cuts accurately. The camera locates "registration points" above, below, and next to each label. This data is used to detect and compensate for any distortion in the fabric. The result is less waste and very accurate cuts.

MACHINE CONTROL SOFTWARE

Viable's powerful machine control software gives precise control over the laser cutting process. Cutting power and speed can be fine-tuned for different types of fabrics. Settings can be saved and re-used. Cut shapes can be created with our software, or imported from other programs.

VERSATILITY

In addition to woven labels, FB laser cutting machines can cut embroidered badges, embroidery appliqués, printed labels, and printed hang tags. The machine can also cut or etch leather, vinyl, plastic, wood, and many other materials.
